A special event is coming to South Huron that will focus on the future of the local workforce and economy.
The South Huron Rural Workforce and Innovation Forum will take place on May 12th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ironwood Golf Club.
The half-day event will bring together local leaders, employers, and industry experts to talk about key issues affecting the region. Organizers say the goal is to share ideas, explore challenges, and look at new opportunities for growth.
The forum will include sessions on workforce trends, including which skills are in demand and how different sectors are changing. There will also be discussions about challenges like housing and transportation, and how they affect attracting and keeping workers in the area.
Another session will focus on innovation and business growth, with a chance for participants to share ideas and learn from each other.
The event will also include time for networking, giving attendees a chance to connect and build relationships over lunch.
The forum is organized by the Huron Chamber of Commerce. More information and registration details are available online.
