Residents will have a chance to learn more about how to stay in Canada through a special information session focused on permanent residency pathways.
The event will take place on May 30th, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 146 Main Street East in Dashwood.
The session will provide information about different immigration options, including eligibility requirements and next steps for those interested in building a future in Canada. Staff from the FCJ Refugee Centre will lead the presentation and share up-to-date and trusted information on current immigration programs.
Participants will also be able to take part in free, one-on-one meetings with a Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) to discuss their personal situations and get professional guidance.
Two sessions will run at the same time, one in English and one in Spanish. Lunch will be provided for everyone attending.
Organizers say the goal is to offer clear, reliable information in a welcoming setting where people can ask questions and learn more about their options.
Registration is required, and participants are asked to sign up for only one session. More details and registration are available through Eventbrite.
