Huron County Pride is being recognized as the myFM community partner for the month of June, a partnership the organization says is both meaningful and appreciated.
Chairperson Alex Jebson said the group is honoured to once again receive the support after also being chosen last year.
Jebson said the recognition helps Huron County Pride continue the work it has been doing to support and connect 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals across the region.
Founded just a few years ago, Huron County Pride focuses on building community and creating opportunities for connection through events such as its annual festival and social gatherings.
The organization also places a strong focus on education.
Jebson says the group’s work is about celebrating, educating, and advocating.
For those looking for support, resources, or ways to get involved, Huron County Pride offers information through its website and social media platforms.
Jebson says the organization is always welcoming new volunteers and encourages community members to learn more at huroncountypride.ca or by visiting Huron County Pride on Facebook and Instagram.
Don’t forget, Pride Fest is coming up tomorrow, at Lions Harbour Park in Goderich.
