The annual Brucefield Firemen’s Breakfast once again drew a strong crowd this past weekend, bringing residents and visitors together for a morning of great food and community spirit.
Jeff Denys says the event is about much more than breakfast.
For a small village like Brucefield, Denys says the event is a great way to bring people together and strengthen community connections. The breakfast drew approximately 1000 people through the doors.
The breakfast also serves an important fundraising purpose. Money raised during the event goes directly back into the local fire service to help purchase equipment, tools, and training resources needed to support modern firefighting operations.
Denys says the support from the community helps firefighters stay equipped and prepared to respond when needed.
Along with supporting a good cause, the breakfast is well known for its food. Following another successful event, organizers are already looking ahead to the Fall Firemen’s Breakfast.
Denys says everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy another morning of food, fellowship, and community support.
