A local motorcycle group is gearing up for another year of giving back through its annual Tour of Duty ride.
Promotional Representative for Southwestern Ontario, Claude Jones says A.B.A.T.E of Ontario is made up of people who enjoy riding motorcycles while also supporting their communities. The organization focuses on awareness, training, and education for riders.
The group has their biggest ride of the year coming up on June 13th.
Jones says the ride will begin and end at 73341 London Road Hwy 4, North of Hensall. Riders can register at the event and will be asked to sign a waiver before taking part.
In addition to fundraising rides, A.B.A.T.E also supports local groups.
The group is also encouraging new members to join.
Jones says A.B.A.T.E chapters across Ontario take part in many charity events throughout the summer, helping causes in their local communities.
