The Lambton County OPP is asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman connected to a theft investigation in Forest.
Police say the incident happened on June 6 at around 12:45 p.m. at a business on King Street. Investigators allege an unknown woman entered the store, selected several grocery items, and left without paying.
The value of the stolen merchandise is estimated at about $100.
According to police, the woman was last seen leaving the area in a dark blue Subaru hatchback.
She is described as a white female, approximately 50 years old, with long dark hair.
The investigation is ongoing, and police have released a photograph of the individual in hopes that someone may recognize her.
