Residents of Exeter are being encouraged to support the Exeter Community Food Bank during a curbside food drive hosted by the South Huron Fire Department.
Firefighters will travel throughout Exeter tomorrow, June 16th, collecting non-perishable food donations. Residents are asked to place their donations at the curb by 6:30 p.m. for pickup. Collections will continue until 9 p.m.
Financial donations are also being accepted. Donations should be placed in a sealed envelope, and anyone wishing to receive a tax receipt should include their name and address or email address. Cheques should be made payable to the Exeter Community Food Bank.
The annual food drive helps stock the food bank’s shelves and support local residents in need. Organizers are thanking South Huron firefighters for their continued generosity and dedication to helping the community.
