A 67-year-old man has died following a drowning at South Beach in Grand Bend.
Emergency crews were called to the beach at about 2:40 p.m. on June 28th after receiving a report of an unresponsive person in the water.
According to the Lambton County OPP, bystanders located the man in the water, brought him to shore, and began life-saving efforts before paramedics arrived.
The man was taken to South Huron Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Police continue to investigate the incident and say more information will be released as it becomes available.
