A 20-year-old has been charged with impaired driving following a traffic complaint in Grand Bend.
Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Lambton County Detachment responded to a report of a possible impaired driver on Ontario Street at about 10:55 a.m. on July 1st.
Following an investigation, police charged the driver from Haldimand County, with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
Lambton OPP is thanking members of the public who reported the suspected impaired driver. Police say quick action from the public plays an important role in keeping roads safe.
