Businesses and organizations in Huron-Bruce have a new opportunity to apply for provincial funding to help grow their operations.
Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson, has announced that applications are now open for the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund (SWODF) and the Advanced Manufacturing & Innovation Competitiveness (AMIC) Stream through Ontario’s Regional Development Program.
Applications will be accepted until September 23rd.
The Regional Development Program helps small and medium-sized businesses in Southwestern Ontario invest in new equipment, technology, and employee training to expand their operations. It also provides funding to municipalities and economic development organizations for projects that encourage business investment and support local economic growth.
The AMIC Stream is available to advanced manufacturing companies across Ontario. The program helps businesses purchase new equipment, adopt new technology, improve skills training, and strengthen their competitiveness in the global marketplace.
The Province says the funding is designed to support business growth, create jobs, and help keep Ontario’s manufacturing sector strong.
