The Municipality of Central Huron is now accepting nominations for its 2026 Outstanding Youth Award.
The award recognizes a local youth between the ages of 13 and 16 who lives in Central Huron and has made a positive difference in the community through leadership, courage, kindness, or volunteer work.
The award celebrates young people who help others, improve their neighbourhood, or show a strong commitment to making Central Huron a better place to live.
The winner will be announced at a Council meeting in September. They will receive a certificate of merit and a $200 prize.
The deadline to nominate a deserving young person is September 1st.
