The Zurich Town-Wide Treasure Hunt is returning this weekend, giving residents a chance to find new treasures while clearing out items they no longer need.
The event runs Friday, August 7th through Sunday, August 9th. Residents can put out clean household items that are still in good condition, including furniture, decorations, kitchen items, books, toys, and tools.
Items should be clearly marked “FREE” and placed outside starting at 4 p.m. on Friday. Residents are asked to remove anything that is not picked up by 6 p.m. Sunday.
Organizers are reminding residents not to put out garbage, broken items, hazardous materials, tires, paint or chemicals. They are also asking everyone to keep sidewalks and roads clear.
The event is a chance to shop locally, reuse unwanted items and help keep Zurich clean.
