Construction is continuing on Main Street in South Huron, between Victoria and Wellington Streets.
The contractor has started work on the east side of the road, including removing old materials, installing watermains and adding new services.
This week, crews will continue the underground work and restore each section of the road to a gravel base.
One lane in each direction will remain open while work continues.
Local homes and businesses will remain accessible during construction, and businesses are still open.
Drivers should expect delays and plan ahead while traffic lanes are reduced.
