The Bayfield Area Food Bank is asking the community to help fill its shelves, as supplies are running low.
Residents are being encouraged to pick up a few extra items during their next grocery trip. The food bank is especially looking for flour and baking supplies, dried soup, cereal, canned meat, pasta and vegetables.
It also needs kids’ snacks, crackers, juice boxes, pop, sparkling water, condiments, gluten-free food, toothbrushes and toothpaste.
The food bank says every donation can help a neighbour in need.
More information about donating and drop-off locations is available at bayfieldareafoodbank.ca.
