Today is the annual 90.5 myFM All Hands on Deck Back to School Food Drive!
This year, donations are being collected at Sobeys in Grand Bend, Hansen’s in Exeter, Foodland in Exeter and a new location at Foodland in Forest.
myFM Account Executive Tracey Alexander says it is so important to help keep local food banks stocked.
Alexander says food donations are about more than pasta and cereal. Having nutritious food for school lunches can help children stay focused and ready to learn throughout the day.
Alexander says the food bank is in high need of many items.
Last year was a record setting year for donations, and myFM is looking to match that to ensure all children in the area can start the school year off right!
