The official list of candidates for the 2026 municipal election in Lucan-Biddulph has now been released.
There are two people running for mayor, Paul Hodgins and David Manders.
The race for deputy mayor also has two candidates: Daniel Regan and Adam Sachs.
In Ward 1, two candidates are running for council, Ken Hoggart and Bryan Frank Malito.
Ward 2 already has its councillor. Allan Cunningham has been acclaimed and will serve as the Ward 2 councillor.
Ward 3 has three candidates running for council: Nolan Goldie, Jim Law and Alex Westman.
There are also races for school board trustee positions.
For the Thames Valley District School Board, three candidates have been certified: Bev Noble, Christian Sachs and Bill Tichenoff.
Josh Lamb has been acclaimed as the London District Catholic School Board trustee.
Rachid Barrima is the only certified candidate for Conseil scolaire Viamonde.
There are currently no candidates listed for Conseil scolaire catholique Providence.
The municipal election will take place October 26th.
