A traffic stop in Grand Bend has resulted in impaired driving charges for a Strathroy-Caradoc resident.
Lambton County OPP stopped a vehicle at a local business on Ontario Street shortly after 3 a.m. on August 22nd.
As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old of Strathroy-Caradoc Township was charged with impaired driving involving alcohol and drugs, as well as driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.
The accused also received a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment.
Police are reminding the public to report suspected impaired driving by calling 911 in an emergency. Concerns about impaired, aggressive or careless driving can also be reported to the OPP.
