Municipal Roads staff in the Municipality of Bluewater are continuing cleanup efforts following Wednesday night’s storm, which brought damaging winds to the area.
Residents are asked to report any damaged municipal trees located on the boulevard between the road and their property line using the municipality’s Report a Concern form. Residents dealing with tree damage on private property are encouraged to contact a professional tree service.
Smaller branches, measuring less than four inches in diameter, can be taken to the Green Waste Depot on Blind Line or the Stanley Landfill during regular public hours.
The municipality is also reminding residents not to place branches or storm debris on roads or sidewalks, as they can create safety hazards for drivers and pedestrians.
