Construction work is continuing on Main Street in Exeter.
Last week, crews worked on the east side of Main Street between Wellington Street and Hill Street. The work included removing old infrastructure, installing a new watermain and connecting services.
The contractor will continue working on the east side of Main Street this week. One lane of traffic in each direction will remain open until the work on that side of the road is finished.
Businesses will remain open during construction, and access to homes and businesses will be maintained as much as possible.
Drivers should expect delays due to reduced lanes and are encouraged to plan ahead.
