People in Perth and Huron Counties have a new way to learn more about the issues and trends affecting their communities.
United Way Perth-Huron’s Social Research and Planning Council launched its United Insights blog in November 2025. The blog has shared information about poverty, housing, homelessness, inclusion and changing population trends.
The blog includes research from the Social Research and Planning Council, along with articles from volunteers and local experts. Upcoming topics will look at the local workforce, Indigenous practices in service delivery and life in rural communities.
United Way Perth-Huron is also inviting community members with knowledge or experience to submit ideas for future articles.
People can read the blog, sign up for updates or submit an article idea through the United Way Perth-Huron website.
