The Brussels Fall Fair gets underway today, with two days of fun and activities planned for the community.
Past President of the Brussels Agricultural Society, Reg Vinnicombe is inviting everyone to take part.
“On behalf of the Brussels Agricultural Society, I would like to invite your listeners to attend the 163rd Brussels Fall Fair September 15th & 16th. The fair starts off with a beef BBQ dinner on Tuesday evening with opening ceremonies at 7pm. Inside the arena we have the very popular dog show, face painting, Ambassador cake decorating, Ambassador cake auction plus tons of exhibits. Outside there are inflatables, an Escape Room and Fire Fit for Youngsters to keep the kids busy. The highlight on Wednesday is the Children’s Program where we host the students from North Woods Elementary School at the fair. There are still our other regular attractions plus a parade, open sheep show and the Brussels/Belgrave 4-H Beef Club achievement show.
The most exciting thing about our fair is that it’s FREE for everyone to attend. The only cost is for the beef BBQ, the pie table or the concession booth. We do however appreciate donations. For more information, please check out our Facebook page or website.”
