With Ontario’s municipal election coming up, Lambton County OPP is reminding residents to leave election signs alone.
The municipal election will take place on Monday, October 26th.
Police say removing election signs without permission, or intentionally damaging or tampering with them, could lead to criminal charges.
The reminder comes after Lambton County OPP received several complaints about election signs being removed across the county.
Anyone with information about stolen or damaged election signs is asked to contact Lambton County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
