Exeter’s own Hudson Leenders has signed with the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League.
The left-shot forward has signed an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the Spirit.
Leenders was selected by Saginaw in the first round, sixth overall, in the 2026 OHL U18 Priority Selection.
The Spirit will open their 25th OHL season tonight when they visit the Soo Greyhounds.
Saginaw will then host the Flint Firebirds for its home opener tomorrow.
