Dads, grandpas, uncles and other male caregivers are invited to spend some quality time with their children at the Huron County Museum in Goderich.
The monthly Dads/Male Caregivers & Kids Night returns on Thursday, September 24th, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
This month’s theme is Back to the One-Room School! Families will have a chance to explore what school was like in the past, check out historical classroom objects and test their knowledge with questions that children in the 19th and 20th centuries may have been asked.
The evening will also include hands-on activities, games, museum and historic gaol tours, and time for caregivers to connect with each other. Healthy snacks will be provided.
The program is also planned for October 22nd, November 26th and December 17th. Registration is required for each session, with registration for the September event closing on September 23rd.
