Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Huron is getting ready to bring back its popular quarter auction.
The fall quarter auction is happening Thursday, October 8th at the South Huron Recreation Centre.
Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Huron, Amy Wilhelm, says the quarter auction is a fun way for people to spend an evening together while supporting the organization’s mentoring programs.
There will be 15 vendors taking part, with three rounds of auctions planned throughout the evening. Up to 300 people can attend.
For those who want to attend but don’t have many quarters on hand, Wilhelm says not to worry.
Guests can purchase a paddle for $5, which includes admission. Additional paddles will be available for $2 at the event.
People are encouraged to purchase their paddles ahead of time, as only a limited number may be available at the door.
Wilhelm says the night is just a great way to have fun.
The event will feature auctioneers, vendors and plenty of chances to win prizes while supporting local youth.
