Weather has delayed paving work on the Grand Bend Bridge, with work now expected to continue Monday and Tuesday.
The Municipality of Lambton Shores says the delay is due to current weather conditions and the forecast.
On Monday, October 19th, there will be no full road closures planned, but drivers can expect increased traffic control and delays as crews work and flag staff direct traffic.
On Tuesday, October 20th, Main Street West will be closed between Kitchener Avenue and Ontario Street. Main Street East will also be closed between Ontario Street and Sauble River Road.
During Tuesday’s closures, drivers can access downtown Grand Bend through Oak Street. Access to Main Street East will be available through a posted detour route.
The municipality is asking drivers to use caution around the construction site and thanking residents and visitors for their patience as the project nears completion.
