With artificial intelligence making it easier to create online content, knowing what information to trust is becoming more important.
The Huron County Library is hosting workshops during Media Literacy Week to help residents learn how to spot misleading information and decide whether online content is reliable.
The sessions will offer practical tips and tools to help people evaluate what they see and read online, including content created using artificial intelligence.
One workshop is scheduled for Thursday, October 29, from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. at the Exeter Library branch.
Additional workshops are planned for Wingham and Goderich, giving more people across Huron County a chance to build their media literacy skills.
