A contemporary dance performance earned Lisa Naves Dance Company’s Senior Team the $2,500 grand prize at Norfolk Has Talent.
The 16 dancers were among 21 local acts competing at the Simcoe Composite School Auditorium as the talent competition returned following a several-year hiatus.
This year’s Norfolk Has Talent lineup included singers, bands, comedians and dancers selected through open auditions.
The judging panel featured Port Dover singer-songwriter Felicia McMinn, the competition’s first winner; professional dancer Justin Lopes of Simcoe; and Port Dover illusionist and Guinness World Records holder Lucas Wilson.
Singer Amanda DeBock placed second overall, while singer Jordin Anger received the top youth prize.
