The Grand Bend Farmers Market has been going strong since May at its new location but it wasn’t until earlier this month they had their grand opening.
Chris Williamson is an executive to the market and says the July 3rd official opening went well and they really enjoy their new location right across Pinery Provincial Park on Museum Road.
They were told last year the market was not going to be in the plans for the new owners of the Colonial Hotel, where they used to put the market on so they had to find new digs.
Williamson said if you have yet to check the market out which runs every Wednesday from 8 to 1 p.m you should. They have fresh fruits and vegetables plus tons of vendors everytime out.
