Lambton OPP are reminding all boat operators about being safe when out on the waterways.
Police have been receiving calls from concerned property owners along waterways in regards to the increase in water levels and the speeds of some boats near the shoreline.
The OPP wants to remind everyone that no boat should be driven in excess of 10 km/h within 30 metres of the shore. Anyone caught doing so could face a $200 fine, and police warn they will be vigilant in patrolling local waterways.
