Young people in area communities are being invited to help shape the future of where they live. Youth led initiatives are being funded in part by the RBC Future Launch Community Challenge
Lori Runciman is the Director of Grants with the Foundation, she says there is up to $15,000 available for each of the 150 communities across the country to come up with ideas.
She says the young people have the ideas, they need the money to make it happen.
Organizers hope the money will fund one big project or a number of small ones in each community. Applications are open to youth under the age of 25, until September 18th.
