Four costly infrastructure projects in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex were green-lit and monetarily supported by the province.
Almost $5.5 million is going towards the Beechwood bridge rehabilitation in North Middlesex, Victoria Street reconstruction in Warwick, Shiloh Line rehabilitation in Brooke-Alvinston and a McEvoy Road upgrade in Strathroy-Caradoc.
Since Funding for the projects is from the Rural and Northern stream of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program, Lambton-Kent-Middlesex MPP Monte McNaughton explains the projects must also undergo federal approval and support before they can begin.
Additionally, he says these projects will go towards supporting the local economy.
