Mayors and council members are returning home following the Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference which wrapped up on Wednesday.
During the conference Premier Doug Ford that local municipalities will be forced to cover 30 percent of their public health costs starting next year.
Lambton Shores Mayor and Lambton County Warden Bill Weber says the healthcare announcement means there is a lot of unknowns for Lambton County.
Also during the AMO Conference, the Province announced additional funding for culture and recreation but Weber believes healthcare and childcare services are priorities.
The local mayor added that Lambton Shores had a delegation with the Minister of Transportation to discuss the bridge in Grand Bend.
