According to CAA, Canadians say that texting while driving is one of the biggest threats to their personal safety on the road.
Did you know that checking a text message for even 5 seconds while driving 90 km/h means you’ve traveled the length of a football field blindfolded.
To help avoid collisions, don’t text, use apps, read emails or answer calls.
Other tips to stay safe include: keep two hands on the wheel at all times, don’t eat or drink while driving, and don’t groom yourself while driving.
