Three men are facing charges after a tractor-trailer full of beer was allegedly stolen from Oxford County on Monday. The owner of the truck tracked the vehicle using GPS and the tracker showed that the truck was in Huron East, north of Brussels.
OPP units including the West Region Emergency Response Team, West Region Canine and Aviation Services helicopter section responded to the scene.
Police were able to recover the tractor-trailer and the cargo worth about $100 thousand dollars. Two men were arrested at the scene, while a third was arrested thanks to the K9 unit.
40-year-old Chad Hussey from Woodstock, 49-year-old James Jauch from Kitchener, and 30-year-old Joshua Lieshout are facing a slew of charges including theft of a motor vehicle over $5000, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of break-in instruments and others.
