A 33-year-old is facing charges following a call to police in Mitchell about an assault with a knife. Police got the call around 7:30 PM on September 9th and located an injured man who was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say that a verbal altercation escalated quickly into an assault, and a man was allegedly stabbed.
Carlton Christopher from West Perth was arrested a short time late and has been charged with aggravated assault.
