Local police are looking for a man who they consider armed and dangerous following an interaction in Exeter over the weekend. On Sunday police were called to a gas station around 9:15 AM on Main Street North.
Investigators say the driver of a Volkswagen Passat pulled up near the store while a passenger entered the store and made a purchase. The passenger returned and while the vehicle was leaving the driver was seen pulling out a handgun and pointing in the direction of a store employee and customer in the store.
The description of the driver is a white man, about 5 foot 8 inches tall, with a medium to muscular build with short hair. The man was wearing a t-shirt, black pants, tan couloured boots, a black baseball cap, and sunglasses.
The vehicle sped off and was last seen traveling southbound on Highway 4, and despite extensive searches police have not located the vehicle.
