It’s election season and time for a refresher for current and first time voters on how to be able to cast your ballot come October 21st or the advanced polls.
Once you’re registered, near the beginning of October you will be mailed your Voting Information Card. It tells you where and when you can vote at a polling station either in advance or on the 21st.
When you’re at those stations, there are some things to avoid doing, according to Ontario’s Regional Media Advisor for Elections Canada Rejean Grenier.
Bringing valid photo ID which shows your address and face is important as well, he noted. To check if you’re registered and for any more information, visit elections.ca.
