Lianne Rood is your Progressive Conservative candidate for the October 21st election. Earlier this year Rood won the nominee seat after defeating five others and now hopes to represent Lambton-Kent-Middlesex as its next MP.
She says if elected the PC’s will cut costs and implement relief programs.
Rood has experience working in the federal politics world, serving as a staffer for retiring MP Bev Shipley in the early 2000s.
She says she’s covered every corner of the riding meeting as many people as possible in recent months while campaigning for the nomination and will continue to do so in the next five weeks.
Rood is running against Jesse McCormick for the Liberals, Anthony Li for the Green party, Dylan McLay for the NDP, Rob Lalonde for the Veterans Coalition Party of Canada and Bria Atkins for the Peoples Party of Canada.
