The Whole Pig has won the distinction of the OMAFRA Ontario Local Food Champion certificate. Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson presented the honour to Owner Teresa Van Raay on Friday.
Van Raay says it was an honour to be honoured, and it’s nice that local food and farming is being recognized.
MPP Thompson says The Whole Pig and the Van Raay family lead by example and they are proud Huron county farmer. The Whole Pig is located at 37871 Dashwood Road, and they can be found on social media including Facebook and Instagram.
