Police have reopened Highway 4 between Whalen Line and Mt. Carmel following a fatal collision early this morning just outside of Centralia.
First responders arrived on the scene shortly after 6:30 Tuesday morning.
The stretch of road was closed throughout the morning.
Investigators say a two-vehicle collision took place, and a driver in one of the vehicles was pronounced deceased at the scene. Anyone with any information is asked to call the police.
