The Exeter BIA and South Huron Chamber of Commerce are getting set to host their fifth annual South Huron Business and Community Excellence Awards Gala. Chamber Chair Leanne Comeau says there will be 10 awards dished out on November 8th to varying types of local businesses.
The winners are determined by five judges who are community volunteers, and a municipality representative. This year’s guest speaker is Brian O’Reilly, father to Ryan O’Reilly of the St. Louis Blues.
Comeau says they’ve experienced such growth in the awards gala over the five years and its shown by the venue upgrade. This year the sold out gala is happening at the South Huron Recreation Centre from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
