The search for Goderich new Chief Administrative Officer is on to the next stage. Interested candidates had until yesterday (TUE) to submit an application to the Town.
Mayor John Grace says they received a ton of applications for the position. He says they will sift through the resumes and begin holding formal interviews soon.
Grace says they have brought in Amy Thompson from Elgin County to help in the process.
He says there are people currently working for the Town who are interested in the CAO position and felt it was best to bring someone in from another municipality to help in the search.
Current CAO Larry McCabe is set to retire next year after 40 years with the Town.
