The Bantam Rep South Huron Sabres remain undefeated. The Sabres beat the Ilderton Jets 7-1 to bring their undefeated streak to 20 games to start the season. Two point nights by forwards Landen Maccuspey and Nate Coward along with two point nights by defenceman Nathan Foran and Bobby Mcbean helped lead a spread out attack that saw 6 different goal scorers round out the night . This weekend the boys will try and defend home ice in the “Bill Baton” tournament starting with games Friday at 12:20 and 6:10 pm .
The undefeated South Huron Sabres Peewee BB team is in action tonight (Thursday). The local girls take on Woodstock before heading to Stratford on Saturday.
Last weekend the Bantam A Sabres girls played host to The North Halton Twisters. South Huron came out on top with a 2-0 win with goals from Jessica Gorman and Audrey Ellerington. The win puts the Sabres in a 3 way tie for first place. This weekend the girls will be on the road in Stratford and Woolwich.
