Police are investigating a theft of pills from an Exeter resident.
Just before 10 AM on October 22nd, a man posing as a repairman got into a home located in a trailer park in Exeter under the rouse of checking the victim’s kitchen sink for a plumbing issue.
The victim was asked to check the washroom sink, while the suspect checked the kitchen, the suspect said everything was okay. Investigators say the victim checked the kitchen cupboards and noticed a new prescription bottle of narcotics had been stolen. The suspect was confronted but scoffed at the allegation and left.
Police are looking for a man who is 40-50 years old, about 5 foot 3 inches tall with shaved grey hair and poor teeth. The man was wearing blue jeans, a black windbreaker jacket with two grey stripes and was last seen driving a newer model black Ford F-150.
Anyone with any information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
