Residents in Huron County will soon have to go to their local municipal office to have someone check that their plumbing is in working order. The Huron County Health Unit will no longer be providing plumbing and sewage inspection.
This is the result of their merger with the health unit in Perth County who don’t offer the program. County CAO Meghan Wark explains what the programs involve.
Wark says Council approved the downloading of the program to the member municipalities in a triple-majority vote.
