A marathon South Huron council meeting took place on Monday night. Part of the meeting was a closed session.
Closed session is a part of the meeting that is for council members only, and the general public, staff, and the media are not privy to anything that took place.
The closed session according to the agenda was for the purpose of addressing personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees.
Monday nights closed session lasted over 2 hours.
Mayor George Finch did confirm that council would be proceeding as directed but isn’t allowed to say anything else.
