Volunteers from the Huron/Bruce Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Chapter worked with officers from the South Bruce & Huron County OPP Detachments for the annual kickoff for the “Red Ribbon” Campaign.
The Red Ribbon campaign helps keep the sober driving message top of mind during the busy holiday season.
The MADD campaign coincides with the OPP’s Festive RIDE Campaign that runs until January 2nd.
During the campaign, OPP officers will be highly visible as they conduct RIDE initiatives 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the province.
If you suspect that someone is driving or about to drive impaired by alcohol or drugs, it is important to call 9-1-1 to report it.
