You can now put forth your nominations for the annual Inspiring Women in Huron event.
Executive Director of hosts Huron Women’s Shelter Second Stage Housing and Counselling Services Laura Sparks says the intent of the night is to shine the light on the difference makers.
For the first time, they’ve opened up nominations to allow for women to be recognized posthumously.
The only prerequisite to be eligible for nomination is the women have to live and work in Huron County.
To nominate someone, visit huronwomensshelter.ca or their Facebook page to download a form. Nominations close January 31st with the event March 6th.
