TSN personality and Mental Health advocate Michael Landsberg is coming to Lucan to do a mental health talk. This comes after he got an email about the tragic death of Lucan hockey player Nick Smith.
Landsberg says the community can expect someone who has a PhD in being a patient.
He says the real battle is figuring out that you have a mental illness.
Landsberg says the stigma is most damaging when the person affected feels it, but he wants people to know that mental illness doesn’t make you weak.
Landsberg will be in Lucan from 7-9 PM at the Lucan Community Centre, and details how to get tickets can be found by going to https://www.eventbrite.com/e/michael-landsberg-talks-mental-health-tickets-82086832927?utm-medium=discovery&utm-campaign=social&utm-content=attendeeshare&aff=esfb&utm-source=fb&utm-term=listing
